Our kennel is family owned and operated. It is a passion that all of us share. I can think back to our first litter of Dalmation puppies we had and how much fun they were. Just about 3 years ago I got introduced to hunting dogs, Doolie, for the first time and quickly fell in love with them. I will never own anything but a hunting dog from now on.

Our puppies and adults are our dogs and hunting companions but they are also a part of our family. The dogs all have slept in our bed/ room at one time or another, they all love kids and babies. Our dogs are raised around our whole family. There are about 20 people and 13 dogs in our emidiate family and the puppies are introduced to all of them. It helps them to be more accepting of new situations and environments.

Our kennel / puppies are our top priority. We breed only to the best quality so to preserve the integrity of the breeds. All our dogs are AKC registered, Vet checked, and are looking for a great home like yours. We have been breeding Vizslas for 2 years and other breeds before that. Next year we will start breeding German Shorthaired Pointers.

10 Commandments for Dog Owners

My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful.

Give me time to understand what you want of me.

Place your trust in me - it is crucial for my well-being.

Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment. I have only you.

Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand you voice when it's speaking to me.

Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget it.

Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you.

Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I've been out in the sun too long, or my heart may be getting old and weak.

Take care of me when I get old. You, too, will grow old.

Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say "I can't bear to watch it" or "Let it happen in my absence." Everything is easier for me if you are there.
